For the next few weeks, the ladies of Happy Happy Art Collective will be sharing a recap of their adventures over the last year since the group's inception. This is gonna be fun!

Next up, Jill Howarth!

I can hardly believe it has been a whole year since the start of happy happy! I feel very lucky that these talented ladies accepted me into the group! I've loved being part of it, for the encouragement and friendship, not to mention the fun group projects that I am happy are now part of my portfolio.

This is probably my favorite piece from all of our projects. It made me approach my alphabet letters a bit differently and may have (hopefully) inspired new projects!

In May, I got to meet Lauren, Emily, Tammie and Muffin in person at Surtex! are still on my bucket list!!

Over the summer, I took an amazing trip out west with my family to the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion and California!

I finished my 40 days of lettering project! (Let's not talk about when I actually started that one...) This was day 38...

I worked with a shop I have long admired, Psikhouvanjou! I redesigned their shop logo and some of the little fruit characters I created will be on sandwich boxes this spring :)

I began working with the nice people at Peaceable Kingdom, and did a number of cards and even some fuzzy pink kitty stickers :) I also got a card in an upscale national grocery chain (sorry to be so cryptic!)

die cuts and flocking...yay!

It's been a fun year and I am so proud of being part of the happy happy group. If you have the opportunity to become part of a collective, do it! Here's to another year of happy happy!
